Located near Mercato, the largest open-air market in Africa, the Grand Anwar Mosque is the oldest and most significant mosque in Addis Ababa. The construction of the mosque is believed to have been completed by the year 1922. The Grand Anwar Mosque features a pleasant architecture with white and green colors.
